Bitcoin price has showed strong recovery on Monday following sharp weekend dips, after US President Donald Trump made a public call for de-escalation in the Middle East. His post on Truth Social declared that the situation with Iran may be stabilizing and that the U.S. had effectively countered the threat. His comments came shortly after
Airdrop activity continues to heat up, with three newly launched tokens—SXT, RIZE, and DOOD—drawing investor attention in the fourth week of May. Space and Time launched its SXT token with an airdrop as a part of the new Chainlink rewards program.
Meanwhile, RIZE powers the Rizenet ecosystem, which is focused on tokenization and decentralized AI. DOOD, the native token of the Doodles NFT collection, joins the wave of NFT projects following the footsteps of APE and PENGU.
Space and Time (SXT)
The latest Space and Time (SXT) airdrop launched on May 8, 2025, as part of its official token generation event (TGE). The airdrop is integrated with Binance Launchpool and Chainlink’s new Rewards program.
The project is distributing 200 million SXT tokens into two batches, representing 4% of the total supply. Eligible users include participants in the Chainlink ecosystem, including LINK stakers, users who engaged in Space and Time’s testnet, and held Community NFTs.
Also, the SXT airdrop claim will be live until June 22.
SXT has been down since its airdrop, and if the correction continues, it could soon start trading below $0.10.
It needs a strong buying pressure to return to levels around $0.126, and if that one is broken, it could rise back to test the resistance around $0.163.
RIZE
RIZE is the native utility token of Rizenet, a decentralized platform for tokenizing real-world assets (RWAs), decentralized AI (DeAI), and DeFi.
The $RIZE token has multiple uses. It pays for tokenization services, grants access to tokenized assets, enables governance through token locking, and rewards contributions to decentralized AI models. RIZE is currently live on Kraken and Aerodrome.
From a technical standpoint, the RIZE token is at a critical point. If it manages to break through the resistance level at $0.064, bullish momentum could drive the price back toward the $0.10 region.
However, failure to maintain its current support at $0.0485 may trigger a downside move, with potential losses extending below the $0.040 mark.
Doodles
Doodles is a well-known NFT collection that originally gained popularity for its colorful, hand-drawn characters and strong community engagement.
It recently launched its own token, DOOD, marking its entry into the growing trend of NFT-native tokens—a path first carved out by Bored Ape Yacht Club with APE and later followed by Pudgy Penguins with the PENGU token in 2024.
Despite the initial excitement surrounding the DOOD airdrop, the token has struggled to maintain upward momentum, falling 35% over the last five days.
The price now faces a key resistance at $0.0052—breaking above this level would be necessary to signal a potential recovery and open the door for a move toward $0.00735.
However, continued bearish pressure could push DOOD below the $0.0040 support, marking new lows and further eroding market confidence.
Sonic publicly revealed that it ended its five-year partnership with Wintermute. A few hours prior, the market maker dumped over $850,000 in S tokens, causing a 6% price drop.
Wintermute was involved in a controversial token dump last month, but today’s events may be part of a normal business interaction. Sonic claimed no foul play, stating that the market maker sold token holdings to return loaned money.
Intel Scout, a Sonic ecosystem decoder, was the first to connect S’s price action with Wintermute’s token dumping. He claimed that the market maker sold around 3 million S tokens in 24 hours, and several other whales disposed of even more.
Sonic’s anonymous Head of Strategy responded to these claims, revealing that the companies had split ways:
24 hours ago, we informed @wintermute_t that we will not be renewing our MM contract. We have been using WM exclusively for 5 years of service.
We have engaged with other MM firms who are willing to provide MM++, they get involved in our DeFi ecosystem, engage with applications…
Sonic’s Head of Strategy went on to state that the company was in talks with several market makers to replace Wintermute.
Specifically, they claimed that CEX only support is “simply no longer enough,” and that this successor needs to proactively engage with Sonic’s DeFi ecosystem, community, apps, and developer team.
Even if Sonic and Wintermute had an amicable breakup, this is not the market maker’s first controversy. In January, the firm faced accusations of market manipulation after $20 million in transactions with Binance.
Nonetheless, today’s actions have not caused a similar scandal yet. If Sonic was dissatisfied with Wintermute’s actions, the company could’ve addressed this, but it didn’t.
It even gave a sympathetic reason for the token sales, explaining that Wintermute needed to return loaned funds. Wintermute, for its part, hasn’t said anything about the episode.
As the XRP price approaches key support levels, crypto analysts Casitrades forecast that the cryptocurrency is on the verge of a breakout. A potential surge in price could see XRP targeting levels as high as $6, with the conclusion of Wave 2 of its Elliott Wave pattern signalling a shift toward bullish momentum.
This technical analysis points to a possible market rally, especially if the XRP price maintains support above $1.90 or $1.55.
XRP’s Price Trend Points To Rally To $6
Currently, XRP’s price remains near the $2.08 level, consolidating between crucial support and resistance zones. According to Elliott Wave theory, XRP price appears to be finishing Wave 2, a corrective phase, with a possible reversal that could trigger a move higher. Crypto analysts Casitrade has spotted the $1.90 and $1.55 levels, where XRP has shown solid support in recent weeks.
For a sustained breakout, XRP needs to break and hold above the $2.24 resistance. This level is critical as it represents the 0.382 Fibonacci retracement. If XRP price can clear and hold above this price, analysts expect a sharp move toward the $6 target, $9.50 and $12, which aligns with the 1.618 Fibonacci extension.
A strong push above $2.24 would likely validate the breakout, allowing XRP to build on the current bullish momentum. Conversely, if the price struggles at this level and fails to maintain support, XRP could experience a brief pullback before making another attempt at higher targets.
Technical Indicators Point to Bullish Momentum
Early buy signals in the technical factors of XRP are pointing towards a bullish direction. The MACD histogram is green and the MACD line has recently crossed above the signal line, thus indicating a higher tendency for buying pressure. Concurrently, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) is still middle of the range, and that certainly provides some more room for price appreciation, if buying pressure persists.
Besides these, if XRP price is able to sustain above the $2.25 on the weekly chart, this will indicate a low at the $2.09 mark. According to analyst EGRAG CRYPTO, a full-bodied weekly candle above this price would confirm a bullish reversal, allowing XRP to target higher price zones such as $2.51 and $2.60.
However, short-term volatility has remained a concern despite such signals. Currently, there has been a remarkable increase in exchange inflows, with more than 55 million XRP moved to exchanges, which could put pressure on the sell-side in the market. However, analysts foresee a more positive, longer-term outlook for XRP due to the possibility of a Ripple ETF.
XRP ETF Approval Could Fuel Price Surge
Investor sentiment surrounding XRP is also being fueled by the growing excitement about a potential Ripple ETF. According to reports, analysts at JPMorgan are predicting that the approval of a Ripple spot ETF could bring in over $8 billion in institutional investments. This could trigger a surge in the price of XRP, potentially pushing it well above $6.
The approval of an XRP ETF is seen as a key development for the cryptocurrency, with analysts such as Zach Realtor suggesting that it could send the price toward $15. Such a move would also bring XRP closer to a $1.8 trillion market cap, making it one of the most valuable assets in the crypto space. The approval process for Ripple’s ETF is expected to unfold in the coming months, with the SEC set to make a decision on Grayscale’s XRP spot ETF filing by May 22.
In the meantime, Teucrium’s recently launched leveraged XRP ETF has already gained significant traction, attracting $27 million in assets. This growing interest in XRP-based products further strengthens the case for a potential ETF approval, which could provide the necessary catalyst for a significant price rally.
