XRP price has surged following the news that Dubai’s Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) granted regulatory approval to Ripple’s stablecoin, RLUSD. This approval marks a significant step in Ripple’s global expansion, especially within the UAE and other key regions. The positive market reaction underscores growing confidence in Ripple’s compliant digital asset solutions, bolstered by developments
Bitcoin price has made a bold uptrend this week as it reclaims $90,000 for the first time in nearly two months. This rally has been attributed to a wide range of factors, including rising inflows to spot BTC ETFs, but one analyst has said that this pump might not last as it is simply driven by leverage. Other analysts have also attributed the gains to macro factors like the declining value of the US dollar.
Why This Bitcoin Price Rally May Be Fake
Bitcoin price is currently approaching its highest level in two months despite growing skepticism among some analysts that this rally might reach exhaustion. Per analyst Maartunn on X, this rally was a “leverage-driven Easter pump” after Bitcoin recently added more than $2 billion in open interest within 24 hours.
Bitcoin Open Interest
The rising open interest is also seen on Coinglass data after this metric hit $60 billion, which is the highest level in two months. Another analyst known as TXMC observed that the rapid surge in OI indicates that the ongoingBTC price rally might fade. He opined,
“If Bitcoin ever breaks away into a bona fide decoupling from other risk assets, it won’t be fueled by over $1.5B worth of leveraged futures longs opening in a 24-hour period.”
Besides therising BTC’s open interest, TXMC added that this rally is also stemming from the weakening value of the US dollar. The US dollar index has plunged to its lowest level in more than three years amid the ongoing tariff war, and this is benefiting the Bitcoin price. He said,
“Bitcoin priced in dollars is about 7-8% higher than Bitcoin priced in other major currencies, relative to the Jan 20 top.”
The third reason behind the risingBTC value today is the rising inflows to spot BTC ETFs, suggesting that institutions are also buying into the ongoing rally. Data from SoSoValue shows that on April 21, inflows to these products reached $381M, marking the highest level since late January.
Will BTC Price Crash to $80,000?
Despite the ongoing concerns about a possible correction in Bitcoin price after the recent rally, the king coin might avoid a crash to $80,000 due to bullish technical indicators and macroeconomic conditions.
Analyst MerlijnTrader on X shared a bullishBitcoin price prediction on X after the coin formed a classic double bottom pattern, which often precedes significant upswings. He noted that BTC might drop to test support at the neckline of $86,900 in the near term before resuming the uptrend and possibly flip $100,000.
BTC Price Chart
At the same time, trader DaanCrypto noted thatBitcoin can extend the rally if it makes a decisive daily close above the psychological price level of $90,000. However, if it fails to flip the 200-day MA and the trend reverses to cause a downtrend below the support at $85,000, it could crash to $80,000.
Meanwhile, BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes noted that as the US dollar weakens, the US bond market will be in a crisis. This will also attract capital inflow to BTC and support the uptrend as investors choose to abandon the greenback for assets such as crypto and gold.
Therefore, amid these factors, it is likely that the Bitcoin price might avoid a crash to $80,000 in the near term. However, if it faces rejection at $90,000, it might drop to test the support level of $85,000 and consolidate within this range if the selling pressure eases.
Dogecoin (DOGE) created a buzz in 2021 by converting little investments into colossal wealth through viral energy and backing by individuals. Mutuum Finance (MUTM) is creating a splash currently by providing a new path towards decentralized finance. Currently at $0.025, MUTM is already at Phase 4 of its presale and will continue to grow to $0.03 in Phase 5. Experts predict that MUTM will hit $6 as early as mid-2025, an astronomical 24,000% rise from its current level.
This translates to a $1,000 investment today potentially climbing to $240,000, surpassing DOGE’s iconic surge. While the cryptocurrency market is unsteady, MUTM’s unique value proposition coupled with growing interest from investors translates to it perhaps being poised for liftoff.
Mutuum Finance Presale Gains Traction with Growing Investor Interest
Mutuum Finance is deep into Phase 4 of its presale and selling tokens for a low $0.025. The project has already reached more than $7.5 million in funds from more than 9,400 early investors to date, a strong sign of ever-growing confident markets. But time’s running out: Phase 4 is more than 50% sold, and when it’s full, the token price will increase 20% in Phase 5. With a planned launch price of $0.06, current buyers might save a potential 140% profit before the token even reaches exchanges.
Unlike tokens that depend on hype and social media trends, Mutuum Finance is built on tangible utility. The platform’s innovative dual lending model, combining Peer-to-Contract (P2C) and Peer-to-Peer (P2P) protocols, has garnered significant attention in the decentralized finance (DeFi) community.
The P2C model allows users to earn passive income by providing liquidity to smart contract-based pools. On the other hand, the P2P model eliminates intermediaries, enabling direct transactions between borrowers and lenders for greater efficiency and privacy. This hybrid approach offers a secure, flexible, and profitable platform that appeals to both conservative investors seeking stable returns and those looking for higher yields.
Stability in a Volatile Market
Mutuum Finance provides market stability in a volatile industry which makes it stand apart from traditional market players. The Ethereum blockchain hosts a stablecoin which receives full collateral through USD reserves to maintain stability. Project stability depends on over-collateralization because it provides protection from algorithmic stablecoin risks while ensuring trust through its design approach.
Open-source smart contracts together with regular third-party audits provide both security and transparency which solves vulnerability issues across multiple other DeFi projects.
Community Rewards and Incentives
The growing community of Mutuum Finance receives multiple incentives through their reward programs. Mutuum Finance established a $100,000 prize distribution that grants $10,000 MUTM tokens to each of its ten winners. Users can receive rewards through a referral program that offers benefits for recruiting new investors to join the platform. Live leaderboard technology displays positions of the top 50 token holders and gives bonus token rewards to participants who succeed in keeping their rankings. The ranks-based program combined with rewards mechanisms shape an interactive network which honors continuous member dedication through its gameplay elements.
Mutuum Finance (MUTM) is on track to potentially deliver returns rivaling Dogecoin’s 2021 surge. With its Phase 4 presale already raising $7.5 million from over 9,400 investors, the token’s current price of $0.025 could skyrocket to $6 by mid-2025, offering a 24,000% return. The platform’s unique dual lending model and USD-backed stablecoin provide real value beyond hype. Time is running out, Phase 4 is over 50% sold, and prices are set to rise. Don’t miss out on securing your position before the next price jump.

Real-World Assets (RWA) are becoming one of the most closely watched narratives in crypto as the sector evolves under increased institutional and regulatory scrutiny. The collapse of MANTRA served as a wake-up call, exposing operational vulnerabilities and sparking demands for higher standards across tokenization platforms.
While skepticism grows around decentralized RWA projects, the broader investment case for asset-backed tokens remains intact—especially as stablecoins and tokenized treasuries lead adoption efforts. Against this backdrop, several RWA altcoins are standing out in May 2025, showing both technical momentum and renewed investor interest.
Stablecoins and Treasuries Lead RWA Adoption Wave
The collapse of Mantra has triggered a wave of reflection and caution across the Real World Asset (RWA) sector. As Andrei Grachev, Managing Partner of DWF Labs, puts it:
“The Mantra collapse is really a pivotal moment for the RWA sector. It has exposed some serious vulnerabilities in how these permissionless tokenisation platforms operate. I think we’re going to see investors getting much more cautious and selective about where they put their money now. Institutional players will probably start demanding much higher standards of due diligence, and regulators might step in with more scrutiny too.”
This event has clearly shaken confidence in the structure of some decentralized RWA models, pushing institutional and retail participants toward more regulated, vetted alternatives.
At the same time, the debate around RWA tokens’ potential to decouple from broader crypto market volatility is gaining momentum.
In response to Binance Research’s observation that RWA tokens have shown more stability than Bitcoin during tariff events, Edwin Mata, Co-founder & CEO of Brickken, said:
“True RWA tokens are backed by real-world value and governed by legal frameworks that enforce rights, obligations, and cash flows. In that sense, they behave more like traditional securities and can, over time, become more resilient to macro-level crypto volatility, especially during periods of market stress, regulatory shifts, or geopolitical shocks like tariffs.”
Shahaf bar Geffen, CEO and Founder of COTI, reinforced this emerging divergence by stating:
“We‘re already witnessing the early stages of that decoupling. RWA tokens are anchored to tangible assets—real estate, commodities, invoices—which inherently provide a stability layer absent in purely speculative cryptocurrencies. The potential for RWAs to hedge against macroeconomic volatility, such as tariffs or inflationary pressures, is significant.”
The macroeconomic case is strengthening, but the technological and institutional backing behind RWAs is also evolving quickly. Kadan Stadelmann, Chief Technology Officer at Komodo Platform, believes institutional adoption will be a decisive factor:
“The adoption by mainstream financial institutions will separate RWAs from the rest of the crypto index. No other crypto product will be as extensively adopted by mainstream finance as RWAs other than stablecoins, which I would argue are a type of RWA.”
Here are the top 3 RWA coins to watch in May.
Ondo (ONDO)
ONDO has climbed nearly 14% over the past 30 days, recently breaking above the $1 mark for the first time since March 6. This move has brought renewed attention to the token, as its market cap approaches the $3 billion threshold again.
However, this upward price action comes amid a broader contraction in the space. According to data from rwa.xyz, total RWA on-chain value currently sits at $16.6 billion, representing a 16.92% decline over the past 30 days.
Despite ONDO’s short-term strength, its technical indicators are flashing caution. A death cross has recently formed on its EMA lines—a pattern often associated with bearish momentum.
The first key support is $0.866. If that level breaks, ONDO could decline to $0.819, with deeper support at $0.73 and $0.663 if the downtrend accelerates.
On the upside, if sentiment reverses and ONDO manages to break above the $1.04 resistance, a push toward $1.20 could follow, opening the door for a stronger recovery.
Reserve Rights (RSR)
Reserve Rights is up nearly 41% over the past 30 days, riding a wave of renewed interest following its Coinbase listing and lingering associations with incoming SEC Chair Paul Atkins.
Despite Atkins having no active ties to the project today, his early advisory role has fueled trader speculation about potential regulatory tailwinds.
This narrative, combined with Binance’s top traders heavily going long, has positioned RSR as one of the more politically charged tokens in the current market.
The listing alone sparked a 9% intraday jump, helping bring RSR back into the spotlight after a long quiet phase post-2021 peak.
Technically, RSR is approaching a critical decision point. The token recently attempted to break the $0.0096 resistance level twice and failed, signaling the importance of that threshold.
A successful breakout could open the door to $0.011, and potentially $0.0137 if momentum builds. However, failure to hold current levels could trigger a correction toward $0.0084, with deeper support at $0.0071 and $0.0057.
TokenFi (TOKEN)
Real-world asset (RWA) platform TokenFi (TOKEN) has surged nearly 40% over the past seven days, pushing its market cap back to the $20 million mark.
The sharp rise comes despite a notable drop in trading activity, with 24-hour volume falling over 59% to $8.13 million.
The divergence between price appreciation and declining volume raises questions about the rally’s sustainability, but for now, TOKEN is regaining attention as a small-cap RWA narrative play in the altcoin market.
From a technical standpoint, TOKEN is approaching key resistance levels. If the bullish momentum continues, the token could test $0.024 and $0.0275, with a potential breakout target of $0.041.
However, any reversal could see TOKEN retrace toward the $0.0194 support level. If that fails, deeper downside levels lie at $0.0137 and $0.0112.
